Mealime alternatives, compared honestly

Mealime's appeal was specific: you did not collect recipes, you answered a few questions and got a week of tested dinners that shared ingredients, plus one grocery list. Most "alternatives" are recipe managers, which is a different job. This table is our reading of each product as of September 2026; check current pricing on their sites.

If you want the Mealime experience back

Suppercharge is built around the same loop with the same preference model (8 diet types, 12 restrictions, 125 dislikes), a waste-minimising planner, the combined list, hands-free cooking and free nutrition, and it adds household sharing, flexible servings, editable plans and export. It is in development; join the waitlist and save your Mealime data before October 21.

If you want a recipe manager

Plan to Eat, Paprika and AnyList are mature and good at importing recipes from the web and putting them on a calendar. You bring the recipes and do the planning yourself.

If you shop at an Albertsons-family store in the US

Meals Hub is free, includes Mealime's recipes, and adds coupons and cart handoff. It requires the store app and a store selection, and does not migrate your Mealime account.

Suppercharge is independent and not affiliated with any product named here.
